It's now easy to organize your luggage.

Practical tip #1
Always start with a list
We know this might be a bit tedious, but otherwise you risk missing small but important things. Especially in the “hectic” days before the trip itself. Then, in the euphoria, it’s easiest to forget some items whose absence would cause us inconvenience and worry. Examples are the charger, toothpaste and toothbrush, swimsuits (if we’re on a SPA vacation or at the sea), medicines, passport, etc. We advise you to mark the packed items in your luggage with a tick ✔ and finally, of course, to review the entire list.
Practical tip #2
Roll your clothes
Pay serious attention to this advice. It really is a “game changer”. Roll your clothes instead of folding them the standard way. It saves a lot of space, and if you decide to also use the recently popular and innovative vacuum bags (for which you don’t even need a vacuum cleaner), you’ll be surprised how much you can fit in one suitcase. This method is not popular here in Bulgaria, but it’s really useful and it works.
Practical tip #3
Think about what you'll need... and cut it in half.
A bit shocking, isn’t it? Just try it and you’ll see its effectiveness for yourself. Don’t be one of those tourists who fill their travel bags with things “just in case” and end up not using them at all. Wherever you go now, almost everything is accessible and easy to find. And “just in case” doesn’t happen in almost 99% of cases. Be practical and rational. Your suitcase doesn’t need to weigh 30 kilograms for you to be sure you haven’t forgotten anything.
Practical tip #4
Use the 1-2-3-4-5-6 rule
This is one of the easiest and most useful tips we can offer you for packing your suitcase. It applies to about a week-long vacation:
1 hat
2 pairs of shoes / comfortable ones are a must/
3 pairs of jeans / if you’re a lady, skirts are also an option /
4 T-shirts
5 pairs of socks
6 sets of underwear
Whether they should be thicker and warmer or light and cool depends on the occasion for the vacation and the destination. If you’re going on a business trip, add a shirt and tie.
Practical tip #5
Pay special attention to liquids
Most blogs advise putting all liquids on top. Yes, if you’re flying, this is recommended, but our suggestion is to have at least one blouse between them and the hard part of the suitcase. During inspection, you can quickly and easily show them, but this way they will be better protected from mechanical pressure (we all know how our luggage is “handled” during transportation). It’s mandatory to put all liquids in a plastic bag and close it well. Last but not least, take mini sizes of them. Everything now comes in small packages: toothpaste, perfumes, deodorants, shampoos, shower gels, soaps, hairsprays, micellar waters, and so on.
Practical tip #6
Choose clothes made from fabrics that wrinkle less
Clothes made from fabrics that are less prone to wrinkling are becoming increasingly popular. All major global clothing brands are releasing “wrinkle-free” models. They are an excellent option for frequent travelers. All natural fabrics like cotton, for example, wrinkle very easily and need to be ironed before use. And we’re not the ones to suggest traveling with an iron (after all, if needed, most hotels now provide an iron free of charge, either in the rooms or upon request at the reception).
Practical tip #7
Always leave some free space
Everyone has experienced, when packing their luggage at the end of a trip, wondering how they managed to fit everything in at the beginning. Somehow your clothes and belongings have become bulkier. In addition to that, if you’re on a trip, you can’t help but buy some souvenirs as gifts or something beautiful to keep as a personal memento (and you need to put them somewhere too). It’s unpleasant, if you’re abroad and captivated by something you can’t find back home, to not have space to take it with you. So, remove thoughts like “I still have a little space, what else can I take” from your mind. Also, think about the weight of your luggage, check, if you’re flying, the different conditions and fees of the airlines you’ll be traveling with.

Additional tips
- Always take an extra bag for used clothes and underwear.
- If you want your belongings to smell fresh, you can put a special clothing freshener in your luggage (they are available in many places now).
- Place heavy items at the bottom of your suitcases (e.g., shoes and books). This way they are more stable and don’t wrinkle your other belongings.
- What you’ll wear and use first should be on top. For example, if you’re going to the sea and will head to the beach immediately after arrival, your swimsuit and beach towel should be at the top.
- As an additional tip for those traveling by plane, we can add to use suitcases with locks and wrap them with stretch film for maximum protection (unfortunately, history remembers missing items from luggage).
P.S. Finally, we want to tell you that in the end, it’s important when you go on vacation to have a good time and enjoy yourself fully (or if it’s for business, for it to be successful). Even if you’ve forgotten your favorite blouse… don’t worry about it, cherish the moment and rediscover the world around you with open arms.
